The Junior Tennis Academy is the best instructional and play program for young tennis players on Nantucket. It is designed for children of all ages and abilities, from those first picking up a racket, to the more experienced tournament player.
Our excellent coaching staff teaches fundamentals, stroke production, strategy, match play, conditioning, and etiquette. They will instruct and challenge your child, building self-esteem through skill acquisition. They will encourage your young tennis players to participate in our club tournaments, round robins and interclub play. The atmosphere is always lively and
fun, instilling a desire to continue and improve. The classes are divided by age and ability. The Tennis Director always makes sure children are placed in the appropriate group and on the appropriate court. We are proud of the best student:instructor ratio on-island. The Camp is offered in weekly sessions throughout the summer with a three-day or five-day option. A supervised swim and fun option is also available. More children play their summer tennis at NTSC than anywhere else on Nantucket.
